On the occasion of PM Modi making history, global leaders from all over the world are congratulating him.

President Macron congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his historic re-election

Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a telephone call today from H.E. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.

President Macron warmly congratulated PM on his historic electoral victory and extended best wishes for his third consecutive term.

PM expressed gratitude to President Macron and underlined that the strong and trusted Strategic Partnership between India & France was poised to scale newer heights in the years to come.

The two leaders agreed to continue working together towards fulfilling the commitments made in 'Horizon 2047' roadmap.

PM extended his greetings to President Macron on the historic 80th anniversary of the D-Day. 

He also conveyed his wishes for the  upcoming Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Both leaders agreed to remain in touch.

Prime Minister of Bhutan congratulated PM Modi

Prime Minister of Bhutan Dasho Tshering Tobgay called Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today and congratulated him on the victory of the National Democratic Alliance in the 18th Lok Sabha elections. Prime Minister Tobgay appreciated Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership in the last decade, and conveyed his warm wishes for his successful third term.

Prime Minister thanked Prime Minister Tobgay for the warm felicitations. Prime Minister conveyed that India accords the highest priority to its exemplary partnership with Bhutan. Prime Minister reiterated Government of India’s firm commitment to further strengthening unique ties of friendship and cooperation between Bhutan and Bharat.

Prime Minister of Thailand congratulated PM Modi

Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had a very warm and cordial telephone call with H.E. Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of Kingdom of Thailand on 06 June 2024. Prime Minister of Thailand congratulated Prime Minister for the victory in the recently held general elections in India. 

Both Prime Ministers also exchanged views on further cementing the multifaceted and robust bilateral ties in various areas such as trade and investment, culture and people to people ties.

President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, congratulated PM Narendra Modi on his re-election

President Von der Leyen congratulated Prime Minister on the success in the general elections and conveyed her best wishes for a historic third term. She deeply appreciated the Indian democracy and the conduct of the world’s largest elections. 

PM expressed his gratitude to President von der Leyen for her warm wishes and underlined the strong India-EU ties based on shared values and principles. 
Prime Minister noted that this year marked the 20th anniversary of the India-EU Strategic Partnership and reaffirmed his commitment to continue to work for further strengthening the partnership for global good.

Prime Minister receives congratulatory call from the Australian Prime Minister

Prime Minister Modi thanked Prime Minister of Australia for his wishes. 

Prime Minister warmly recalled his visit to Australia in 2023 and his meeting with PM Albanese on the sidelines of the G20 Summit last September in Delhi. 

Prime Minister reiterated his firm commitment to work together with the Australian Prime Minister to further strengthen the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and work closely on the shared priorities in the Indo-Pacific region.

 

President Biden congratulated PM

President Biden warmly congratulated PM on being re-elected as Prime Minister of India for a historic third time. 

While thanking President Biden, PM called it a victory of democracy and the democratic world. 

The two leaders agreed to continue working together to further strengthen the India-U.S. Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership, for global good. 

PM also conveyed his best wishes for the successful co-hosting of the ongoing ICC T20 Cricket World Cup.
